Create your account

Signing up takes a couple of minutes. Right after, Packyard walks you through four short setup steps that end with your first appointment booked.

1. Go to app.packyard.app/signup.
2. Enter your Business Name, First Name, Last Name, and Email.
3. Choose a Password of at least 8 characters, and type it again in Confirm Password.
4. Click Create Account.

You’re signed in right away. There’s no email to confirm.

The four steps below open straight after signup. You can’t skip them, but if you leave partway through, Packyard picks up where you left off the next time you sign in.

1. Under Business Type, choose Mobile Groomer or Salon.
2. Optional: add your City and State.
3. Check the Timezone. Appointment times are shown in this timezone.
4. Click Continue.

• If you do the grooming yourself, leave I am a groomer checked and click Continue.
• If you don’t, uncheck it and enter your groomer’s First Name and Last Name. To give them their own login, also enter their Email (optional), Phone (optional), or both. Then click Continue.

This puts the groomer on your calendar. If you entered an email or phone, they get an invitation to set their password. If you didn’t, you can invite them later: in Settings → Groomers, click Invite to log in next to their name. See Invite staff.

1. Enter a customer’s First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number.
2. If they haven’t agreed to get texts from you, untick This customer agreed to get appointment texts.
3. Enter their Pet Name and Animal Type.
4. Click Continue.

1. Pick a Date, Start Time, and End Time.
2. Under Service, pick a service. If you don’t have any yet, type a name (like “Full Groom”) and a Price ($), and Packyard creates the service for you.
3. Click Book Appointment.

You’ll see Congratulations! You’re all set. Click Go to Calendar to open your calendar on the day of that appointment.

Reminder texts go out at 6 PM the evening before and 2 hours before each appointment. They start once Packyard activates your business texting number.

• You’ll get a welcome email, followed by occasional tips emails during your first month. You can unsubscribe from the tips at any time.
