Can Packyard replace Gingr if I run daycare or boarding?
No. Packyard is for grooming only. If daycare or boarding is a big part of your business, Gingr’s Play and Stay plans cover it and Packyard doesn’t. Packyard fits grooming salons, solo groomers and mobile vans.
Is Packyard cheaper than Gingr for a grooming shop?
On list price, for one or two groomers: $49 per groomer against $109 a month for Gingr Spa. With three or more groomers, Packyard costs more than Spa’s list price. Gingr asks you to book a demo to see the price for your setup.
Can I bring my clients and pets from Gingr?
Yes. Export owners and animals from Gingr as a CSV and email it to support@packyard.app. We import it for you, free. Pet names and breeds come over; vaccinations and past appointments don’t.
Can I keep using Square?
Yes. Packyard connects to the Square account you already have, including your Terminal. Stripe works too.
Does Packyard do mobile grooming?
Yes. Vans, service areas, travel fees, route maps, on-my-way texts and a mileage log, at the same $49 per groomer.
Only groom? Keep Square and switch.
